How did you find the vote exchange?

So I have been wondering where all the new members are comming from... So how did you find our site. Google, Facebook A friend Or somewhere else?

Somehow found you doing a google search. I don't remember the exact phrasing I used. But am thankful I found you! Great site! I usually don't do contests with voting (and I learned why with this one!). It is really hard to get family/friends to vote! So I've done posting on facebook, posting on twitter, phone calls, etc....and then went searching for more ways to get votes. This site is really going to be useful/beneficial for a lot of people! Thanks again!

I used to think that those few people who were always winners in voting contests were cheating somehow. I couldn't understand how they got hundreds an thousands of votes. This was 2 weeks ago, during my first big culinary contest.

When suddenly an idea came to my mind : to google search for "vote exchange". This is how I found you, and another site in my country.

I was forced into helping maintain the forum by Admin! lol

No, I just help, since he got lazy a few times, so I had to do most of the stuff.

Yep thats one of the ways a lot of people get in. Most vote exchange places are "hidden from the public" I created this one to not be so hidden so anyone can get votes and it would be more fair.

I found it from Facebook, I think, but I like this better than the Facebook page, a lot of foreign (to me) that I don't know what may be going on if I click.
One thing different in this forum I like is if they do not return and vote in two days they are kicked off. I like the Watched, Voter, and Super Voter.

I don't agree with this hiding from the people. In my opinion it is not a fraud to make vote exchange, so why all this secret?! Besides that I noticed on other sites and forums that there are almost the same people registered.

I agree with you. I don't have a ton of time but depending on the prize, it is definitely worth it, to trade votes. The sponsors don't care how you get votes as long as it is new/unique traffic.

I found it by a google search too. I was wondering how people were so popular and was upset that they could pull in enormous numbers and I asked all my friends to vote, but still couldn't possibly understand how they did it.

Then I decided to copy their urls and find out where they've been posting it to ask for votes. That's when I found some of them have been using this site...and I was shocked at how I never even knew about the existence of a vote exchange community! It was like discovering gold!

A lot of people don't know how others get so many votes so fast. It is a little sad that now, most people will have to use vote sites in order to keep up in most contests.

I have a question for all the experienced sweepers. About what would you say is the return rate for your votes? (i.e. like for every 3 votes you vote for others, you get 1 vote in return)

I'm really new at this, and it feels like I voted until I can't find any new entries, but only received a couple of votes back. Is this just the way it is? Or do you guys have tips to boost the numbers?

I usually get 3/4 or more of my votes returned. Its mostly the new people that you need to watch out. Most of the members that have been on this site for quite a bit will return. (we can't be 100%) as some can slip though but we are always on the lookout and we listen to members if they find a member that has not returned.

actually I haven't had an seo or anyone come onto this site to optomize it but i'm almost number if not number one on google for vote exchanges

I've been a bit frantic for votes, and yesterday I voted for others from the top to the bottom of a wall of people asking for votes. It took me 90 minutes, and at the end I felt like my eyeballs were going to fall out of my head. I posted my contest, per the rules, and one person voted. One.
I think there has to be careful moderation, like they have here, or it simply doesn't work. At least it doesn't work if you are honest....it worked for a lot of people on that wall LOL
