First thing we normally ask new users (light blue name) to do is to vote for 10 others before you can open your own thread. However, as you can see we are very light on listings at the moment. The beginning of a New Year always marks the end of old contests and the beginning of new ones; and that means waiting for new ones that you want to enter to show up. Consequently that means we never have anything or much of anything listed from January through February, sometimes March. Which means there are not 10 posts that you can vote on in order to be able to open your own thread.
In lieu of those 10 votes we are asking that you please read and understand the following threads concerning the rules, warnings and consequences of rule violations and then post "I read and Agree to all of these rules" at the bottom of this post, then you will be able to open your own thread:
Once your name has turned dark blue, you will be able to open your own thread in the appropriate vote exchange section. First determine if your contest is a 1x vote only, or if users can vote daily (weekly, etc). If we can only vote one time then you would go to the vote exchange 1x only section; If you can return vote every Day (24 hours; or multiple times a day; once a week, ect.) go to the Daily Section.
Once in the appropriate section, click on New Thread in the upper right hand corner.
It will bring up a window that you can use to create your contest topic. The header must have
1 - the ending date of the contest
2- any votes you do not return ie ***I do NOT return Registrations*** If this is not in the HEADER then you will be responsible for returning the vote. It must be in the header BEFORE you receive the vote or you will still need to return it. They are time stamped as well as any edits you make so we can tell if it is added ex post facto.
Then you can enter the body of your contest, along with the link. Once you are done entering all the information, hit send.
If you accidentally post it in the wrong section, please pm a moderator or admin back to move it, instead of opening a copy. Copies will be locked as duplicates.
