3rd Prize
Once designs are in, everyone can vote on up to 5 designs. 5 randomly chosen voters will win a 2 Shirt Prize Pack – of the 2 winning designs!
Five lucky random voters will win a tee in each winning design.
Contest Instructions
1 – Designer & band must be Australian residents.
2 – Designers, you need permission from the band you’re designing for. It can be your mate’s band, your client, or you can contact an Australian band you want to design for and see if they’re willing.
3 – By ‘Band’ we mean a band or solo musician. Any genre of music. We’ll need to see a band website (facebook/myspace etc is fine) to confirm they’re real.
4 – Design is to be original, creative artwork owned by either the designer or the band. A design that hasn’t been printed on merch before.
5 – Designers can submit up to 2 designs each, but not for the same band. Any band can submit up to 5 designs, but must be from different designers. Entries to be submitted by the designer, not the band.
6 – The Band wins a print run of the design entered on 60 tees. Keep it to max A3 size on the shirt, and maximum 4 colours. The prize includes a 1 colour back print if wanted – Do not send back design with submission, we’ll discuss that when you’ve won.
7 – Prize also includes print run for the designer. Up to 2 colour front + 1 colour back, up to A3 size on 30 shirts. Anything printable, as long as designer owns copyright. You dont submit this design until you’ve won & have 6 months to claim it.
8 – Download submission pack from the Red Octopus website. This will help you correctly enter
9 – When submissions close & entries are in, the gallery goes up & voting begins! Spread the word, tell your people – design with the most votes wins 1st prize.
