Small business insurer Hiscox is searching for the next great startup story during our “My Startup Story” Contest. We want to hear from small business owners, entrepreneurs and consultants like you who have interesting stories of the challenges they overcame to launch their businesses. Submit your startup story today for a chance to win a first place prize of $10,000!

Entry Process
To enter, submit a 2-5 minute video about your business or a 500-word maximum summary of your startup story, for a chance to win a $10,000 cash prize or startup essentials. Submissions will be featured on the Hiscox Facebook page, and winners will be chosen by Hiscox’s small business team of experts.
For inspiration why not check out example videos from leading entrepreneurs like Pete Cashmore (Mashable) and David Karp (Tumblr) among others.
Submission Topics
All submissions should address the following points:
*What does your business do?
*Why did you start your business?
*What is the best advice you’ve received?
*What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced and how did you overcome these?
*What advice would you give to others starting their own businesses?
The submissions featuring the best advice for other small businesses will be the winners. Every small business has a story- share yours today!
