Contest Instructions
HLC encourages parents to download and discuss the USDA’s MyPlate with their child and recreate the healthy plate at mealtimes. To enter, parents must post a picture of the healthy plate or lunchbox their child made after learning about MyPlate. Photos must be submitted by September 30. From October 1-13, fans can vote on the picture they think is the best MyPlate. Rally your friends and family to check out our Facebook page and vote, too!
The USDA MyPlate icon can be downloaded at www.choosemyplate.gov or from our Facebook photo album.
