1) PROMOTION/SUBMISSION PERIOD: The Just Doggin' Around Photo Contest And Sweepstakes (the "Promotion") consists of a Contest and a Sweepstakes. The Promotion will begin on 3/28/11 at 12:00:01 am EDT and end on 5/6/11 at 11:59:59 pm EDT. The photo submission period will begin on 3/28/11 at 12:00:01 am EDT and end on 4/24/11 at 11:59:59 pm EDT ("Submission Period"). The Webmaster's computer will be the official time keeping device of this Promotion. The Sweepstakes Random Drawings and the Contest Judging and Voting Phases (and criteria) are further detailed below.
2) PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The object of the Promotion is to visit the Just Doggin' Around Photo Contest and Sweepstakes Application on the PetSmart® Facebook Page (the "Promotion Application") and submit a picture of your dog, along with a brief description depicting a time when he/she was caught "Just Doggin' Around" (i.e. being playful, playing in the mud, romping in the yard, having a fun filled day at the beach, playing in the snow, etc…) (together an "entry" or "submission"), for the chance to win the Sweepstakes and/or Contest prizes detailed below. All photos must comply with these Official Rules ("Rules") and meet the submission guidelines ("Submission Guidelines") herein, and all photos will be voted/judged in accordance with the voting/judging criteria ("Voting/Judging Criteria") detailed below. Sponsor does not condone intentionally getting your dog dirty or putting your pet in a situation where they could potentially be harmed (even if unintentional) and all such entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be disqualified.
3) ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to legal residents of the forty-nine (49) United States (the sole state excluded being Hawaii) including the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec), who currently own a dog and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater, as of the date of entry. Employees, directors and officers of PetSmart, Inc., ("Sponsor"), bottlerocket marketing group, LLC ("Administrator"), Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. ("Prize Provider"), PetSmart Charities, Inc., Banfield, the Pet Hospital, and any of their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiary companies, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively the "Promotion Entities") and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All entries must comply with these Rules and meet the Submission Guidelines detailed herein. Each entrant is solely responsible for any and all uses of his/her registered account. To enter the Promotion, visit the Promotion Application which you can find on the "Grooming / Photo Contest" link on the left hand side navigation menu, on PetSmart's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/PetSmart), and follow the onscreen directions to "Like" PetSmart (if you already "Like" PetSmart you will not be asked to perform this task again), complete all required information, upload your photo and brief description, and submit your entry. Entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 pm EDT on 4/24/11. Entrants may submit as many entries as they want, so long as each entry is unique from their previous submissions and/or the submissions of others. Entries are limited to photos that contain at least one (1) DOG. Therefore, photos that include any other types of animals will not be accepted unless there is a dog in the photo (in these instances, judging will be based on the dog). Further, Sponsor cannot accept photos with identifiable humans posing with their dog (for example, a photo that includes a human body part, such as a hand, is acceptable, but a photo that includes a human body part sufficient to reveal the identity of the person in the photo, such as a face, is not acceptable, as determined by the Sponsor at their sole discretion).
Each time an entrant visits the Promotion Application and submits an eligible entry, such entrant will be; 1) entered into the Sweepstakes portion of the Promotion, which utilizes daily random drawings (the "Daily Drawings"), which take place every day throughout the Submission Period, from among all eligible entries received as of the time of each Daily Drawing (at or about 3:00 pm EDT daily), in order to award daily Sweepstakes prizes ("Daily Prizes") as detailed below; and 2) entered into the Contest portion of the Promotion which will utilize a combination of consumer voting and expert judging in order to award one (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”) and nine (9) runner-up prizes ("Runner-Up Prizes"), as detailed below, from among all eligible entries received throughout the Submission Period. 5) SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Each entry that is submitted to the Promotion must comply with these Rules and the following Submission Guidelines.
