THEME: A New Twist on a Harlequin Beads Design
Submission Deadline: Sunday, August 21, 2011
At Harlequin Beads and Jewelry, we offer an assortment of jewelry project kits. Many have told us that they’ve been inspired by our designs to create something completely different. So, we thought we’d see what would happen if you took one of our kits as your inspiration and showed us your own personal twist on that piece.
Please read the instructions and rules carefully, and complete the required steps.
1. We would like to see your creative twist on any one of Harlequin’s project kits. View all of your choices at www.HarlequinBeads.com/projects, and pick one upon which you will base your design. Please note that there is no purchase required; the project kit is meant for inspiration only.
2. The materials you use are entirely up to you – different beads, chain, findings, shapes, colors, sizes, metals – whatever components give your design your own unique and wonderful twist.
4. Upload your color photo of your creation in one of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, or .png.
5. Please provide a complete list of all the materials you used.
6. Please provide the name of the Harlequin Beads Project Kit that inspired you – everyone will want to see how you redesigned it.
7. Please tell us what struck you about the kit you chose and elaborate on your special twist.
VOTING: Voters can choose one favorite entry starting on Monday, August 22nd until midnight on Sunday, August 28th.
