Prize Details
Two aspiring golf professionals will be offered the opportunity to attend the National University Golf Academy with a scholarship of up to $50,000 each. The scholarship will be applied to tuition reimbursement for the attainment of a degree in one of the Golf Academy’s academic programs.
As part of the selection process, four finalists will be carefully chosen to participate in an all-expenses paid one-day match-play event in San Diego, California that will take place in September, 2011.

Whether you are looking for a career in the golf industry, improve your game, or attain a quality, WASC-accredited education, the National University Golf Academy provides you the opportunity to tailor a program suited to your needs. The Golf Academy, located in the heart of the San Diego golf community, is an innovative golf education program that combines academics with golf at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree levels. The Golf Academy is under the direction of golf professional and Dean Dr. Mac Powell and offers an Associate of Science with a Major in Professional Golf Management, Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Sport Psychology, Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and two professional golf management certificate programs. In partnership with the Golf Academy, National University Virtual High School offers an introductory golf-focused curriculum and golf coursework for high school students who wish to pursue credit toward graduation.
