What makes a Referral contest?
A Referral Contest is when someone "refers" other people to a site. This can be done in several ways. One way is to have people sign up to a site through a link, or just clicking the link, or to like a Facebook page.Please do not post a referral that you are getting credit for. You should post those in the Vote Exchange.
For
the subject line, put the name of whoever is hosting it and "referral". Example "Joys Soap Referral".
Try to put the location restriction in
the title as well. Example *USA Only*, *Canada and UK Only*. Use the
asterisks for this portion. And last, but not least, when the entry
period ends. Be careful with "promotion periods" they might say they run til April, but the time to actually enter it could have ended in March.
So, your title should look like this in the end "Joys Soap Referral ends 1/14 *UK* only".
Now for the body of the post.
Include the link, you can usually copy and paste any info you find,
always check the Official Rules, just to make sure it's right though.
The main things to post are the link, area restrictions again, age
limit, and the prizes.
