The What Works Project is shifting America’s focus from what isn’t working to what is. Through the power of positivity we can all make an impact on our country. That’s why GE has partnered with GOOD/Corps to turn your participation into donations for non-profit partners across the country that support job creation and training.
<p>There are three ways to participate:
GE works on things that matter. The best people and the best technologies taking on the toughest challenges. Finding solutions in energy, health and home, transportation and finance. Building, powering, moving and curing the world. Not just imagining. Doing. GE works.

This section will be for this contest only however when you vote for the person you can leave your links and directions to any contest as a reply.
Please put the days date in the title as well and return asap. All votes must be returned within 24 hours since this is only a 24 hour daily contest.

- Submit a photo of what works in your world – the people, places and things that matter most. Then share why you feel they work by filling in the caption “______ Works”. For each submission, GE will donate $1 to our Non-profit of the Week supporting American jobs. Plus, the submission that gets the most votes during the day it’s posted will win $500. Every day of the contest there will be a new $500 prize.
- Vote for all your favorite photos. For your first vote each day, GE will donate another $1 to the Non-Profit of the Week.
- Like Official Facebook Page, and GE will donate another $1 to the Non-Profit of the Week.
