Cheating Contests questions

hey!
as this is my first contest, i am unaware of what to do.
Here is the background:
A few days ago, some people [including myself] reported a few people in the contest for clearly cheating. In return these people were DQ'ed, and when i went back to check on them, I found that DQ for Wondershare meant getting bumped down to 0 or so votes...

On 12-12 @ about 11:00 PM PST, I decided that i should start doing screen captures after I read a thread on here talking about cheaters and their contest. I took the top 10.

The next morning 12-13 I got up around 8:30 PST and i went to the site to do another screen capture. To my surprise I was bumped down to palce two, and one of the cheating contestants who was bumped down to 0 [unfortunately I didn't take a screen shot] had the lead with 484 votes.

the third place person was also bumped down for cheating and he had 177 votes. The interesting thing here is that he created a new "lie" dated 12-13 time: 01:20:47 [1 AM in the morning, EST].. you usually start off at around 80ish +/-, that means he got 100 votes in a few hours!

Now the question is should i report it?
Ok lame question, but i don't want to report it now, because they will most likely keep doing this again and again. and if this happens right before the announcement is made, I'm out of luck...
As this is my first competition, should i report these two nabs for being able to continue despite being DQ'ed?
or do i assume that they are DQ'ed and i'm in the lead, but Wondershare is just letting them "look" like they win or something..

[lol it's best to contact wondershare, but as this is my first contest, i wanted to know what others thought ]

btw. one thing worth mentioning, I have watched these two cheaters before they were Dq'ed, and i noticed that they both get exponential votes the moment another beats them. so if I get say 600, then the current no. 1 would get 800 or something.
I'm still a hundred behind no. 1 and 200 ahead of no. 2, so i dont know what to do...

in case you are interested in the rules:

1. Winners are determined by total number of votes received.
   
2. Voting will end on December 30th, 2011 at 12:00am PST.
   
3. The Winners list will be announced on Dec. 30th. Wondershare will contact the winners via email
   
4. All forms of cheating such as voting with an empty facebook account or fake IP address will be disqualified.
   

report them a day or 2 before the contest ends. Solves the problem of them being able to regain votes

ugh... i emailed them asking what the hell was up with the cheaters again, and they told me that it was all clean?

Votes of the leading liars are proper, although it might be tricky based
on what you observed. We've been monitoring the votes and have banned
some of the cheating accounts to make sure this game is fair.

but those who have been banned haven't been banned? i mean i can search for their name and their lie still pops up?

but since you guys know more about contests then i do, i have two questions
1. how can i over come her, she seems to be 100 ahead of me every time. if i get a few votes, some how she will too, and she will stay about 100+/-..
2. do you guys think it's possible to get 500 votes overnight? [remember it's a1X contest]

its possible but very rare to get 500 votes in a 1x in one day. However if they keep up that record it would put up a red flag. they could be a Youtuber with many many subscribers. I went up against once "once" they got 5k votes in about 2 weeks.

unfortunately, i am trying my hardest and i cannot pass her. she seems to be on my heels, except with 100 more votes. and the only way i can over come her is if I get 100 votes in a day in addition to the daily ones, and that doesn't seem very likely as of now.

and at that pace, she cannot even put up a red flag unless i pass her...
do you have any personal recommendations from your own experiences on how to get the max. votes besides this site.

personally ask on facebook. Thats how I get mine. Between this site and facebook I was able to rack up quite a few.

i think i figured out how to get the lead!

i analyzed the screenshots, and i noticed #1 gets 20-30 votes per day, thus if I get 40-50 votes per day, i should over take her in about 4-10 days +/- [this doesn't include all the help FB might give me..]

i also figured out their bit.ly link, and notice that they have 44 shares on FB, but i have searched for the link, and bit.ly reports having only 2 clicks [and I'm sure both were by me on accident]

I don't know if anyone else has been exposed to this, but I've also seen (and been offered) to exchance money for facebook likes from someone who claims to have 100s of active accounts.

The promise was to dole out X/day depending on how many you paid for total. I like to think those accounts are all flagged for most voting contests, but I doubt it.

Anyways, definitely cheating, but would be hard to spot if the accounts are reasonably convincing...

I just had an issue with this today. Went to sleep last night after exchanging votes all day with a 30 "Like" lead, woke up 9 hours later trailing by 500 "Like"s. Went straight to the contest promoter. They are investigating. I can see getting 100 likes in 9 hours or so, if you pushed really hard, but 500 overnight when you can only get 350-ish over 10 days?

What really annoys me is that before this contest, I didn't even know about vote exchanges and only found out while researching how to get votes and finding my competition on one site. It easily explained how she passed us, even though up to that point, we had gotten almost 250 votes just from friends and family.

I also learned about buying votes so I'm positive that's what happened. It only happened once I had passed her in votes and it happened ALL at once, not spread out over a couple of days. I guess I could play that game too but I don't want to get involved in outright cheating. I just hope the contest promoter (a local business) sees it the same way I do.

yea 500 votes sounds like they bought it thats one of the increments.. for sure. Ive been asked by a few sites asking to advertise here for selling votes but I don't allow it I believe that buying votes makes it so unfair and turns a contest into how much money are you going to spend to win.

Well, unfortunately we got told by the promoter that they couldn't take the votes away without proof. Somehow we have to beat a 500 vote lead now. Any ideas?
